Fannie Kachale

Ms. Kachale facilitates the implementation of Results Based Financing for Maternal and Neonatal Health (RBF4MNH) in Malawi and participates in TRAction-convened technical meetings, including an RBF panel at the Health Systems Research Symposium in October 2014. TRAction is currently conducting an independent evaluation of the RBF4MNH program

Ms. Kachale is the Director of the Reproductive Health Unit in the Malawi Ministry of Health.  She has supported many local projects that promote community involvement and bridge the gaps between providers and users of reproductive health services. Her coauthored publications in peer-reviewed journals focus on addressing inequities and quality in maternal and newborn health services. She holds a BSc in Nursing from the Kamuzu College of Nursing in Malawi and an MS in Nursing with Research in Reproductive Health from the University of Namibia. She is currently studying for a PhD in Interprofessional Health Care Leadership with Kamuzu College of Nursing.
