Fatuma Manzi Kabanywanyi

Dr. Fatuma Manzi has worked with Ifakara Health Institute since 2000. She has contributed on issues of maternal, child and newborn health, development of health system strategy for interventions delivery, health system evaluation and cost and cost analysis of health system interventions.
Dr. Fatuma Manzi has a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from Basel University at the Swiss Public Health Institute (2010). She is leading the health system thematic at Ifakara Health Institute. Dr Fatuma has worked in evaluation of various health system projects since 2002, including the multi country evaluation of IMCI, evaluation of intermittent preventive treatment in infants (IPTi), improving new born survival in southern Tanzania, emollient evaluation study in Africa  and expanded quality improvement using information power. She served as the principal Investigator for the TRAction-funded Recognition and Care-seeking project in Tanzania. More information can be found here.
