Jessica Leight

Assistant Professor, Williams College

Jessica is one of three principal investigators working on the J-PAL evaluation of community-based strategies to reduce maternal mortality in northern Nigeria.

She received a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in 2013 and is currently an assistant professor at Williams College. Her research interests focus on household decision-making around health-seeking behavior and human capital accumulation in developing countries, as well as questions of governance and the relationship between institutions and economic outcomes.
