Maternal Mortality and Morbidity & Human Rights: Implementation and the SDGs

On 16 September from 12:00 to 13:30 in Room XXI of the Human Rights Council, the Office of the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights will hold an event concerning the utilization of the High Commissioner's technical guidance on the application of a human rights based approach to the implementation of policies and programs to reduce preventable maternal mortality and morbidity.

Report of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights The report on the implementation of the technical guidance, which includes an analysis of the SDG framework from a human rights perspective, is available in all UN languages on the Human Rights Council website here (see document number A/HRC/33/24).
