The Health Data Collaborative, an inclusive partnership of international agencies, governments, philanthropies, donors and academics was launched this week with the common aim to help countries improve the quality of their data to track progress towards the health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
On February 22nd World Vision hosted a dissemination meeting at their Washington, DC office to present findings from their research in Indonesia focused on recognition and care seeking for maternal and newborn danger signs. The meeting convened participants from World Vision, USAID, URC, and JHPIEGO to discuss the findings and implications of the research.
As part of the Collaboration for Implementation Research and Delivery Science (IRDS), TRAction participated in a two-day meeting hosted by the World Bank to discuss and prepare for a Lancet Series of Papers on Implementation Research and Delivery Science (IRDS) to improve health in low and middle income countries (LMICs).

The Performance-Based Financing (PBF) Community of Practice is hosting a three-day workshop in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to share knowledge on the health system effects of PBF. The workshop, entitled “Payment for Performance: a health systems perspective” will take place November 24-26, 2015.

Both Malawi and Senegal have identified access and quality of care as priorities for improving maternal and neonatal health.
